Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is an upcoming sci-fi movie directed by Luc Besson, based on a French graphic novel from the ’60s.
Watching the trailer you might think that this is some sort of copy of the Fifth Element, or Star Wars even with all the space creatures and space ships, however I remind you once more that it’s based on the graphic novels that were first published in 1967, some ten years before Star Wars. Some even suggests that Star Wars is based on the adventures of Valerian and his love interest the beautiful Laureline.
Dane DeHaan is starring as the title character Valerian, while Cara Delevingne is his spatio-temporal agent partner, and he flirts with her constantly.
Valerian and the City of Thousand Planets premieres on 21 July 2017.
The first teaser trailer for Doctor Strange and a gallery of HD screencaps.
Marvel released the first teaser trailer for Doctor Strange which is slated to premere in November this year.
Starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular character, in the teaser we are partially introduced with the Dr. Stephen Strange. While the comic book fans are certainly very well educated on this matter, the rest of the Marvel fandom gets a glimpse of the Ancient One, who plays a major role in the “creation” of Doctor Strange.
For a teaser the trailer does seem a bit long. It is cool that the Ancient One is a woman, played by Tilda Swinton, in contrast of the comic books.
As one who has never read the comic books, everything looks very oriental and mystical. Also, there were no scenes with Doctor Strange wearing his cape and signature outfit, like in the poster below.
Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson. Premieres November 4th, 2016.
It took three trailers for the Suicide Squad to finally shine in their true light!
While the second Suicide Squad trailer was explosive and full of action, the third one takes a while to introduce us to the characters, with the appropriately chosen “You don’t owe me” song playing in the background and then it springs into action!
We get a little bit more Batman action as well as even more Joker madness.Harley Quinn though totally owns the funny parts, while El Diablo proves to be a major part of the plot and a very powerful pyro!
Today Disney released the first teaser trailer for this year’s Star Wars movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Even though a bit longer than the usual teasers, the trailer isn’t showing much more of the plot line than we already know. Instead we get introduced to the character Jyn Erso, played by Felicity Jones. After watching the trailer you will get an instant Han Solo vibe of of the character, being a young criminal and all.
To be honest the trailer is much more exciting than the trailers for Episode VII. For those of you who don’t know the story, the film takes place between Revenge of the Sith and New Hope, dealing with stealing the plans for building the first Death Star which was destroyed in New Hope. Jyn Erso as an experienced thief and criminal (also rebel) will be in charge of this task.
Diego Luna and Forest Whitaker have a prominent part in the teaser, but their characters are unknown at this point.
There are at least two bad guys in the teaser and two or three characters for which is not quite clear which side they serve.

Rogue One will premiere on December 16th 2016. Directed by Gareth Edwards, written by Chris Weitz and John Knoll. Gareth Edwards is mostly known for the 2014 remake of Godzilla.
DC Comics released a few new Suicide Squad posters in which each character is represented by a skull with a unique styling so we can recognize them.
The latest news on the film is that currently some reshoots are going on in order to make the film more “light” and more humorous. One would suspect that the Batman v Superman critics bashing is responsible for this and DC Comics isn’t taking any chances with this movie, even though Dawn of Justice is doing just fine on the box office.
